Illinois High School Basketball - Elgin ripped by Jacobs
The Jacobs Golden Eagles basketball team scored 78 points and held the visiting Elgin Maroons to 44 in the Golden Eagles non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Golden Eagles now sport a 20-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cary-Grove for a Fox Valley - Valley contest on Saturday, February 20.
The Maroons (9-5) will now prepare for their contest against Streamwood (Streamwood, IL). The Sabres enter the Upstate Eight contest with a 2-12 record.
