The Red Devils now possess a 8-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Harrisburg for a Southern Illinois River-to-River - Ohio battle on Saturday, January 7. Murphysboro will confront a Bulldogs team coming off a 53-50 non-league win over Edwards County (Albion, IL). The Bulldogs record now stands at 6-5.

The Bulldogs (1-13) will now prepare for their battle against Carterville (Carterville, IL). The Lions come into the Southern Illinois River-to-River - Mississippi battle with a 7-4 record. In their last battle, Carterville was overwhelmed by Benton (Benton, IL), 55-34, in a non-league battle.
