Larry Allen has been named player of the year. "Larry came on board with the Wildcats and took the league by storm as he led the team to a 2nd place finish. He led the team from the beginning. His relentless attacks on the basket kept the opposing defense on its heels every night, and opened up attacking lanes for his teammates. It was a normal occurrence to see Larry soar above the crowd to snag a rebound and push the ball from baseline to baseline finishing strong over a defender in less than 5 seconds. He played with tenacity on the defensive end and was the catalyst on the full court press that flustered many opponents. Mr Allen led the team in field goals made, free throws made, assists, rebounds and points. He finished with averages of 21.7 points, 5.3 rebounds, 2.6 assists, and 2 steals."
