In Tuesday's non-league battle, the host Lyons Lions lacrosse team scored a close 8-3 win over the Palatine Pirates.
The Lions now have a 3-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Hinsdale Central for a West Suburban battle on Thursday, April 7. Lyons will face a Red Devils team coming off a 6-5 non-league win over Ballard (Louisville, KY). The Red Devils record now stands at 2-3.
In their next game, the Pirates face the Benet Academy Redwings (Lisle, IL) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, April 7. Palatine will attempt to move on its 4-1 season record. The Redwings come into the battle with a 0-2 record after their 8-6 non-league loss to Indianapolis Cathedral (Indianapolis, IN).
