Joel Duncan has been named player of the year. "Joel has had a terrific year on and off the pitch. As a player he has broken two records, and tied one this year. The first one was the season high goals record. Joel broke the old record, 26, against Cahokia when he scored three to bring his total to 27. He now has 32 for the season. He also broke the quickest goal score record. He scored a goal against Marion at the 25 second mark. He tied the record for most goals in a match, with 5 against Centralia. He also leads the team in assists with 13. Off the pitch he is a good student. He maintains an honor roll status in the classroom. His morals are excellent, and he is a dedicated soccer player as is evidenced by his off season training. "
