Val Nichol has been named player of the year. "Val is the most noted player on our team. As a setter and hitter, she shares stats with some of our other players, but when the game is on the line she shows up and terminates the volleyball. She is committed to play volleyball for the Purdue Boilermakers, and is one of the most followed athletes in her age group nationally. As an attacker, she jump touches over 10'4'' making her an offensive threat against any blocker."
