Ashlee Freeman

Ashlee Freeman has been named player of the year. "Setter Ashlee Freeman is a leader on RTHS Volleyball. She led the team 539 assists, 85 kills, 189 digs, and 52 aces. Ashlee also hit her 1000th varsity assists at the beginning of this senior season. Ashlee runs from boundary to boundary to set the ball to her hitters. Her defense is scrappy and tough. She dives to save any and every ball she can possibly get to. Whether she chases a ball in the back court or set from the intended target her accuracy in setting is incredibly accurate. Ashlee also assists in coaching her teammates in proper ways to pass, playing defense, hitting and blocking. Ashlee earned all-tournament team at the PBL Classic and earned Illini-Prairie 1st Team All-Conference. "
