Spectators at Saturday's non-league match between the Antioch Sequoits (Antioch, IL) and the visiting Jacobs Golden Eagles (Algonquin, IL), witnessed Antioch's softball squad prevail over Jacobs by a count of 16-6.

The Sequoits now sport a 15-4 record. They play next when they host Grayslake North for a Northern Lake County match on Monday, May 10. Antioch will face a Knights squad coming off a 16-4 non-league loss to McHenry (McHenry, IL). The Knights record now stands at 11-3.

With the loss, Jacobs moves to 8-4 on the season. The Golden eagles host McHenry (McHenry, IL) to face the Warriors in a Fox Valley match on Wednesday, May 12. The Warriors go into the match with a record of 8-6.
