The Larkin Royals routed the visiting Bartlett Hawks softball squad by a final score of 18-3 in Wednesday's league battle.

The Royals (2-3) will now prepare for their battle against West Chicago (West Chicago, IL). The Wildcats go into the Upstate Eight battle with a 3-3 record. In their last battle, West Chicago was routed by St. Charles North (St. Charles, IL), 13-0, in a league battle.

The Hawks now possess a 3-2 record. They play next when they travel to Batavia for a Upstate Eight battle on Thursday, April 14. Bartlett will confront a Bulldogs squad coming off a 17-13 league loss to South Elgin (South Elgin, IL). The Bulldogs record now stands at 1-1.
