The Kewanee Boilermakers routed the visiting Morrison Mustangs softball squad by a count of 14-4 in Friday's non-league battle.
The Boilermakers (11-9) will now prepare for their battle against Erie-Prophetstown (Erie, IL). The Panthers go into the Three Rivers battle with a 18-7 record. In their last battle, Erie-Prophetstown topped Sherrard (Sherrard, IL), 9-1, in a non-league battle.
The Mustangs now sport a 0-15 record. They play next when they travel to Sherrard for a non-league battle on Tuesday, April 30. Morrison will meet a Tigers squad coming off a 9-1 non-league loss to Erie-Prophetstown (Erie, IL). The Tigers record now stands at 5-14.
