Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Chadron Cardinals (Chadron, NE) and the visiting Douglas Patriots (Box Elder, SD), saw Chadron's basketball squad knock off Douglas by a score of 68-56.

With the victory, Chadron improves its record to 6-9 on the campaign. The Cardinals travel to Alliance (Alliance, NE) to battle the Bulldogs in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 31. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 5-9.

Next up, the Patriots battle the Belle Fourche Broncs (Belle Fourche, SD) in a A District 16 challenge, on Friday, February 3. Douglas will attempt to improve on its 4-8 season record.
