Smith Valley Bulldogs (Smith, NV) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Coleville Wolves (Coleville, CA), 53-33 in a league bout.

With the win, Smith Valley upgrades its record to 2-9 on the season. The Bulldogs host Sage Ridge (Reno, NV) to clash with the Scorpions in a non-league bout on Wednesday, January 15. The Scorpions go into the bout with a record of 6-4.

Next up, the Wolves clash with the Whittell Warriors (Zephyr Cove, NV) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 11. Coleville will attempt to upgrade on its 4-5 season record. The Warriors go into the bout with a 7-3 record after their 59-56 non-league win over Smith Valley (Smith, NV).
