The Phoebus Phantoms nipped the visiting Poly Panthers basketball squad by a margin of 71-68 in Tuesday's non-league test.

The Phantoms (4-0) will now prepare for their test against Norcom (Portsmouth, VA). The Greyhounds go into the non-league test with a 6-2 record. In their last test, Norcom got by Warwick (Newport News, VA), 60-51, in a non-league test.

The Panthers now own a 5-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Warwick for a non-league test on Wednesday, December 30. Poly will clash with a Raiders squad coming off a 60-51 non-league loss to Norcom (Portsmouth, VA). The Raiders record now stands at 3-4.
