The Arkansas City Bulldogs basketball team (Arkansas City, KS), was nudged 49-42 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the host Goddard Lions (Goddard, KS)

The Lions now sport a 4-15 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Eisenhower for a Ark Valley-Chisholm Trail Division II contest on Thursday, February 27. Goddard will battle a Tigers team coming off a 76-65 non-league win over Maize South (Wichita, KS). The Tigers record now stands at 18-1.

The Bulldogs (1-18) will now prepare for their contest against Central (Andover, KS). The Jaguars enter the Ark Valley-Chisholm Trail Division II contest with a 9-10 record. In their last contest, Central nudged Goddard (Goddard, KS), 68-62, in a league contest.
