The Deerfield Spartans basketball team scored 47 points and held the visiting Sublette Larks to 41 in the Spartans non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Spartans now sport a 7-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Yarbrough for a non-league contest on Friday, February 3. Deerfield will battle a Lobos team coming off a 51-34 league loss to Tyrone (Tyrone, OK). The Lobos record now stands at 15-7.

The Larks (5-9) will now prepare for their contest against Wichita County (Leoti, KS). The Indians enter the Hi-Plains contest with a 5-10 record. In their last contest, Wichita County was nudged by Lakin (Lakin, KS), 57-30, in a league contest.
