Courtney Jenkins has been named player of the year. "I may be biased but hopefully we can agree that the Inman Teuton player of the year should be Courtney Jenkins. Court led the team in batting average .506, on base .529, slugging percentage .662, OPS (on base plus slugging) 1.192, hits 42, RBI 24, triples 4 all while throwing out 32% of would be base stealers. Great job Courney! Inman is also going to miss the other two seniors who were huge contributors to this team. Kristen Knackstedt and Allison Gordon. As a dad that has probably gone to a couple hundred softball games in the last ten or so years, Kristen has become one of the better pitchers I've seen. She has really improved her command and pitch speed. Aly had an excellent year in center field. I saw a HUGE improvement in her play in center from early in the year to the end. At the beginning, she was hesitant to go after the difficult catch. By the end of the season, she was making excellent sliding and diving catches all over the place. Thank you very much to our seniors!!"
