The Augusta Panthers basketball team scored 95 points and restricted the visiting Bourbon County Colonels to 87 in the Panthers non-league victory on Monday.

The Panthers now sport a 4-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bracken County for a District 39 contest on Tuesday, December 10. Augusta will battle a Polar Bears team coming off a 42-23 league win over St. Patrick (Maysville, KY). The Polar Bears record now stands at 2-0.

The Colonels (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against George Rogers Clark (Winchester, KY). The Cardinals come into the District 40 contest with a 2-1 record.
