Kentucky High School Basketball - Jackson City topples Jenkins
In Thursday's non-league outing, the Jackson City Tigers (Jackson, KY) basketball squad beat the visiting Jenkins Cavaliers (Jenkins, KY), by a margin of 68-59.
The Tigers (7-14) will now prepare for their outing against Lee County (Beattyville, KY). The Bobcats go into the non-league outing with a 10-9 record. In their last outing, Lee County gained a win over Riverside Christian (Lost Creek, KY), 64-30, in a non-league outing.
The Cavaliers now own a 1-21 record. They take the field next when they travel to Powell County for a non-league outing on Saturday, February 14. Jenkins will encounter a Pirates squad coming off a 83-31 non-league loss to Perry County Central (Hazard, KY). The Pirates record now stands at 1-22.
