Kentucky High School Softball - Somerset bounces Wayne County
In Thursday's non-league match, the visiting Somerset Briar Jumpers softball team scored a nice 11-0 win over the Wayne County Cardinals.
Next, the Briar Jumpers play the Danville Admirals (Danville, KY) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, March 21. Somerset will attempt to upgrade on its 3-0 season record. The Admirals enter the challenge with a 3-0 record after their 19-2 non-league win over Washington County (Springfield, KY).
The Cardinals (1-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Lincoln County (Stanford, KY). The Patriots enter the non-league challenge with a 1-2 record. In their last challenge, Lincoln County was routed by Marion County (Lebanon, KY), 9-7, in a non-league challenge.
