Cameron Wright has been named player of the year. "While our season ended a little earlier than expected, Cameron had a great year. Cameron averaged 15.2 points (53.5% FG%) and 8.4 rebounds per game, while leading Trinity (Whitesville) High School to its first winning season and #1 seed ranking in the district tournament in 14 years. He was named to the 12 District's all-season and all-tournament teams, and he was a 3rd Region's all-season honorable mention. Furthermore, his 48 points against Warren East High School this season (the film to that game is on Hudl) are the most recorded in Trinity (Whitesville) High School history. The best part is Cameron, only a junior, is just scratching the surface of his potential. Keep an eye on him!"
