Louisiana High School Baseball - Ruston loses to West Monroe
The West Monroe Rebels crushed the visiting Ruston Bearcats baseball team by a count of 12-4 in Saturday's league bout.
The Rebels now possess a 10-9 record. They take the field next when they travel to Natchitoches Central for a 5A District 2 bout on Tuesday, March 31. West Monroe will face a Chiefs team coming off a 13-3 league loss to Ouachita Parish (Monroe, LA). The Chiefs record now stands at 12-6.
Next, the Bearcats face the Bastrop Rams (Bastrop, LA) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, April 2. Ruston will attempt to move on its 9-10 season record. The Rams enter the bout with a 7-9 record after their 7-4 non-league win over Crossett (Crossett, AR).
