In Friday's league outing, the Castor Tigers (Castor, LA) basketball squad beat the visiting Dodson Panthers (Dodson, LA), by a count of 55-40.

The Tigers (15-9) will now prepare for their outing against Doyline (Doyline, LA). The Panthers go into the B District 2 outing with a 8-8 record. In their last outing, Doyline was topped by Lakeside (Sibley, LA), 73-53, in a non-league outing.

The Panthers now hold a 0-15 record. They take the field next when they travel to Quitman for a B District 2 outing on Tuesday, January 10. Dodson will encounter a Wolverines squad coming off a 65-61 league win over Weston (Jonesboro, LA). The Wolverines record now stands at 8-12.
