Quitman Wolverines (Quitman, LA) boosters left the game satisfied Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the host Doyline Panthers (Doyline, LA), 97-80 in a league match.
With the victory, Quitman upgrades its record to 16-7 on the year. The Wolverines host Forest (Forest, LA) to face the Bulldogs in a non-league match on Tuesday, January 20. The Bulldogs enter the match with a record of 0-14. Forest lost 71-25 in their recent non-league match against Claiborne Christian (West Monroe, LA)
The Panthers now have a 16-10 record. They play next when they host Castor for a B District 1 contest on Friday, January 23.
