The Hackberry Mustangs (Hackberry, LA) basketball felled the visiting Epps Panthers (Epps, LA), 62-53 in Friday's non-league test.
The Mustangs (14-12) will now prepare for their test against Phoenix (Braithwaite, LA). The Spartans enter the non-league contest with a 21-5 record. In their last contest, Phoenix ran past Starks (Starks, LA), 94-53, in a non-league contest.
