The Corona del Sol Aztecs softball team (Tempe, AZ), was routed 17-11 in Wednesday's non-league test with the visiting Pinnacle Pioneers (Phoenix, AZ)

Coming up next, the Pioneers encounter the Desert Vista Thunder (Phoenix, AZ) in a non-league test, on Friday, March 8. Pinnacle will attempt to improve on its 6-2 season record. The Thunder come into the test with a 10-1 record after their 10-4 non-league win over Mountain View (Mesa, AZ).

The Aztecs (0-8) will now prepare for their test against Xavier College Prep (Phoenix, AZ). The Gators come into the non-league test with a 10-1 record. In their last test, Xavier College Prep edged Sunnyslope (Phoenix, AZ), 16-1, in a non-league test.
