Ironwood Eagles (Glendale, AZ) backers left the game in high spirits Friday as they observed their volleyball squad hold off the visiting Higley Knights (Gilbert, AZ), 3-2 in a non-league match.

Next up, the Eagles battle the American Leadership Academy - Gilbert North Eagles (Gilbert, AZ) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, May 9. Ironwood will attempt to better on its 30-7 season record. The Eagles come into the match with a 26-4 record after their 3-2 non-league win over Centennial (Peoria, AZ).

With the loss, Higley drops to 13-23 on the campaign.
