Indiana High School Basketball - Morgan Township trounced by Kouts
February 14, 2025: Kouts, IN 46347 Kouts Mustangs & Fillies (Kouts, IN) supporters left the game happy Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting Morgan Township Cherokees (Valparaiso, IN), 63-39 in a league match.
With the victory, Kouts advances its record to 17-2 on the year. The Mustangs & Fillies host Hanover Central (Cedar Lake, IN) to face the Wildcats in a non-league match on Tuesday, February 18. The Wildcats enter the match with a record of 10-10. Hanover Central won 58-55 in their recent league match against Lowell (Lowell, IN)
The Cherokees now own a 4-13 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Westville for a Porter County match on Friday, February 21. Morgan Township will face a Blackhawks squad coming off a 63-42 non-league loss to Hammond Central (Hammond, IN). The Blackhawks record now stands at 11-9.
