The Morgan County Bulldogs got by the visiting Pickens Dragons softball squad by a count of 7-6 in Wednesday's non-league battle.

The Bulldogs (23-8) will now prepare for their battle against Wesleyan (Norcross, GA). The Wolves go into the non-league battle with a 27-4 record. In their last battle, Wesleyan nudged Jackson (Jackson, GA), 2-1, in a non-league battle.

The Dragons now sport a 20-12 record. They play next when they travel to Jackson for a non-league battle on Thursday, October 26. Pickens will meet a Red Devils squad coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Wesleyan (Norcross, GA). The Red Devils record now stands at 23-8.
