Georgia High School Softball - Wesleyan bounces Pickens
August 16, 2023: Norcross, GA 30092 Spectators at Wednesday's league match between the Wesleyan Wolves (Norcross, GA) and the visiting Pickens Dragons (Jasper, GA), witnessed Wesleyan's softball squad prevail over Pickens by a count of 9-0.
The Wolves now sport a 3-1 record. They play next when they travel to Dawson County for a 3A Region 7 match on Thursday, August 17. Wesleyan will meet a Tigers squad coming off a 16-4 league win over West Hall (Oakwood, GA). The Tigers record now stands at 3-3.
With the loss, Pickens moves to 4-2 on the season. The Dragons travel to West Hall (Oakwood, GA) to meet the Spartans in a 3A Region 7 match on Thursday, August 17. The Spartans go into the match with a record of 1-2. West Hall lost 16-4 in their recent league match against Dawson County (Dawsonville, GA)
