The Herreid/Selby Wolverines basketball squad (Herreid, SD), lost 51-38 in Saturday's non-league battle with the visiting Jones County Coyotes (Murdo, SD)

With the victory, Jones County advances its record to 6-11 on the year. The Coyotes travel to Bennett County (Martin, SD) to meet the Warriors in a B Region 7 battle on Friday, February 21. The Warriors enter the battle with a record of 6-10.

The Wolverines now own a 4-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Sully Buttes for a B Region 6 battle on Tuesday, February 11. Herreid/Selby will meet a Chargers squad coming off a 74-50 league win over Potter County co-op [Gettysburg/Hoven] (Gettysburg, SD). The Chargers record now stands at 10-5.
