The Springfield Tigers basketball team scored 34 points and held the visiting Richmond Heights Spartans to 31 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Tigers now sport a 20-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Loudonville for a non-league contest on Saturday, March 9. Springfield will meet a Redbirds team coming off a 46-40 non-league win over Danbury (Lakeside, OH). The Redbirds record now stands at 25-2.
