The Western Reserve Roughriders basketball team scored 72 points and limited the visiting South Central Trojans to 27 in the Roughriders league triumph on Friday.

The Roughriders now have a 6-9 record. They play next when they host Wellington for a non-league game on Saturday, February 1. Western Reserve will confront a Dukes team coming off a 63-55 league loss to Firelands (Oberlin, OH). The Dukes record now stands at 2-12.

With the loss, South Central falls to 3-13 on the campaign. The Trojans host Edison (Milan, OH) to confront the Chargers in a non-league game on Tuesday, February 4. The Chargers go into the game with a record of 4-11. Edison won 68-60 in their recent non-league game against Woodmore (Elmore, OH)
