New York High School Football - Cathedral Prep prevails St. Francis

The crowd at Saturday's non-league contest between the Cathedral Prep Ramblers (Erie, PA) and the host St. Francis Red Raiders (Athol Springs, NY), observed Cathedral Prep's football squad defeat St. Francis by a count of 37-14.

The Ramblers now own a 4-2 record. They play next when they host McDowell for a District 10 Region 8 contest on Friday, October 5. Cathedral Prep will encounter a Trojans squad coming off a 21-17 non-league win over Hollidaysburg (Hollidaysburg, PA). The Trojans record now stands at 4-2.

Coming up next, the Red Raiders encounter the St. Joseph's Collegiate Institute Marauders (Buffalo, NY) in a Monsignor Martin - Large contest, on Saturday, October 6. St. Francis will attempt to upgrade on its 2-3 season record. The Marauders go into the contest with a 1-4 record after their 34-28 league loss to Canisius (Buffalo, NY).
