The Highland Prep Honey Badgers basketball squad (Surprise, AZ), was outscored 41-25 in Saturday's non-league battle with the host Youngker Roughriders (Buckeye, AZ)

With the victory, Youngker advances its record to 6-2 on the year. The Roughriders travel to Estrella Foothills (Goodyear, AZ) to meet the Wolves in a non-league battle on Thursday, January 2. The Wolves enter the battle with a record of 6-0. Estrella Foothills won 100-3 in their recent non-league battle against Arcadia (Phoenix, AZ)
