Washington Township Senators (Valparaiso, IN) boosters left the game satisfied Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the visiting Kouts Mustangs & Fillies (Kouts, IN), 66-49 in a league match.

With the victory, Washington Township upgrades its record to 9-1 on the year. The Senators travel to Hobart (Hobart, IN) to face the Brickies in a non-league match on Tuesday, January 28. The Brickies enter the match with a record of 5-7.

The Mustangs & Fillies now sport a 8-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Rensselaer Central for a non-league match on Saturday, January 18. Kouts will face a Bombers squad coming off a 72-54 non-league loss to West Central (Francesville, IN). The Bombers record now stands at 3-8.
