Casteel Colts (Queen Creek, AZ) fans exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the host Desert Mountain Wolves (Scottsdale, AZ), 7-6 in a non-league test.

With the win, Casteel upgrades its record to 2-0 on the season. The Colts travel to Ironwood Ridge (Tucson, AZ) to battle the Nighthawks in a non-league test on Friday, March 1. The Nighthawks come into the test with a record of 1-5. Ironwood Ridge won 6-2 in their recent non-league test against Sahuaro (Tucson, AZ)

With the defeat, Desert Mountain falls to 4-2 on the season. The Wolves travel to Centennial (Peoria, AZ) to battle the Coyotes in a non-league test on Friday, March 1. The Coyotes come into the test with a record of 4-1. Centennial won 3-2 in their recent non-league test against Millennium (Goodyear, AZ)
