The Mardela Warriors basketball squad (Mardela Springs, MD), was outscored 62-42 in Thursday's league battle with the host Decatur Seahawks (Berlin, MD)

With the victory, Decatur advances its record to 5-2 on the year. The Seahawks travel to Cape Henlopen (Lewes, DE) to meet the Vikings in a non-league battle on Friday, January 3. The Vikings enter the battle with a record of 4-1. Cape Henlopen won 61-24 in their recent non-league battle against Mountain View (Stafford, VA)
