Kentucky High School Softball - Montgomery County bounces Franklin County

May 9, 2025: Frankfort, KY 40601

The Montgomery County Indians softball team scored 9 runs and held the host Franklin County Flyers to 4 in the Indians non-league win on Friday.

The Indians now possess a 16-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to South Laurel for a non-league battle on Saturday, May 10. Montgomery County will confront a Cardinals team coming off a 7-2 league win over Whitley County (Williamsburg, KY). The Cardinals record now stands at 21-4.

With the loss, Franklin County moves to 16-8 on the season. The Flyers host Bullitt East (Mt. Washington, KY) to confront the Chargers in a non-league game on Tuesday, May 13. The Chargers enter the game with a record of 22-6.
