DeMatha Stags (Hyattsville, MD) boosters left the game satisfied Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting Saint John Paul the Great Catholic Wolves (Dumfries, VA), 90-51 in a non-league match.

With the victory, DeMatha upgrades its record to 21-5 on the year. The Stags host Gonzaga (Washington, DC) to face the Eagles in a DCSAA AA match on Monday, February 17. The Eagles enter the match with a record of 24-3. Gonzaga won 72-36 in their recent league match against Bishop O'Connell (Arlington, VA)

The Wolves now sport a 6-13 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Benedictine for a VISAA Division I match on Friday, February 21.
