The STEM School Highlands Ranch Spartans (Highlands Ranch, CO) basketball edged the visiting Denver Academy Mustangs (Denver, CO), 36-35 in Tuesday's non-league bout.

The Spartans now possess a 1-0 record. They play next when they travel to Liberty Tree Academy for a non-league bout on Thursday, December 5. STEM School Highlands Ranch will play a War Eagles team coming off a 65-33 non-league win over Manzanola (Manzanola, CO). The War Eagles record now stands at 1-0.

With the loss, Denver Academy falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Sheridan (Denver, CO) to play the Rams in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 7.
