Valley Union Blue Devils (Elfrida, AZ) fans exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the visiting Baboquivari Warriors (Sells, AZ), 2-1 in a league test.

With the win, Valley Union upgrades its record to 5-3 on the season. The Blue Devils travel to St. David (St. David, AZ) to battle the Tigers in a 1A South test on Friday, March 29. The Tigers come into the test with a record of 6-6. St. David lost 5-2 in their recent league test against Desert Christian (Tucson, AZ)

With the defeat, Baboquivari falls to 2-9 on the season. The Warriors host Valley Union (Elfrida, AZ) to battle the Blue Devils in a 1A South test on Monday, April 1. The Blue Devils come into the test with a record of 5-3.
