The crowd at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Sierra Chieftains (Tollhouse, CA) and the host Morro Bay Pirates (Morro Bay, CA), observed Sierra's basketball team knock off Morro Bay by a score of 45-35.

The Chieftains (22-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Shafter (Shafter, CA). The Generals come into the non-league challenge with a 24-5 record. In their last challenge, Shafter prevailed over Bakersfield Christian (Bakersfield, CA), 60-57, in a non-league challenge.
