The Morrill Lions basketball squad (Morrill, NE), was crushed 63-35 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the host Lingle-Fort Laramie Doggers (Lingle, WY)

With the victory, Lingle-Fort Laramie advances its record to 14-0 on the year. The Doggers host Southeast (Yoder, WY) to meet the Cyclones in a 1A Southeast battle on Thursday, January 30. The Cyclones enter the battle with a record of 9-6. Southeast lost 44-30 in their recent league battle against Niobrara County (Lusk, WY)

The Lions now own a 12-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Gordon-Rushville for a C2 District 12 battle on Friday, January 31. Morrill will meet a Mustangs squad coming off a 63-14 non-league loss to Chadron (Chadron, NE). The Mustangs record now stands at 4-11.
