The Metro Tech Knights (Phoenix, AZ) basketball nipped the host Independence Patriots (Glendale, AZ), 62-55 in Tuesday's non-league test.

The Knights (5-4) will now prepare for their test against West Point (Avondale, AZ). The Dragons go into the non-league test with a 3-5 record. In their last test, West Point was tipped by Canyon View (Waddell, AZ), 94-65, in a non-league test.
