Texas High School Basketball - Sulphur Springs bested by North Lamar
February 7, 2025: Sulphur Springs, TX 75482 North Lamar Panthers (Paris, TX) supporters left the game happy Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad run past the host Sulphur Springs Wildcats (Sulphur Springs, TX), 58-47 in a league match.
With the victory, North Lamar advances its record to 22-10 on the year. The Panthers host Pittsburg (Pittsburg, TX) to face the Pirates in a 4A Region II District 14 match on Monday, February 10. The Pirates enter the match with a record of 14-19. Pittsburg lost 56-42 in their recent league match against Bonham (Bonham, TX)
The Wildcats now own a 19-12 record. They put it on the line next when they host Pleasant Grove for a 4A Region II District 14 match on Tuesday, February 11. Sulphur Springs will face a Hawks squad coming off a 101-60 league loss to Paris (Paris, TX). The Hawks record now stands at 14-11.
