In Thursday's non-league battle, the host Odyssey Institute Minotaur volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the BASIS Phoenix Firebirds.

The Minotaur (14-5) will now prepare for their battle against Dobson (Mesa, AZ). The Mustangs come into the non-league battle with a 8-10 record. In their last battle, Dobson achieved victory over Horizon Honors (Phoenix, AZ), 2-1, in a non-league battle.
