Ironwood Ridge Nighthawks (Tucson, AZ) backers went home pleased Wednesday as they observed their basketball team smash the host Buena Colts (Sierra Vista, AZ), 58-35 in a non-league contest.

The Nighthawks (1-0) will now prepare for their contest against Pueblo (Tucson, AZ). The Warriors come into the non-league contest with a 1-0 record. In their last contest, Pueblo smashed Walden Grove (Sahuarita, AZ), 61-31, in a non-league match.

The Colts now own a 0-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mountain View for a non-league match on Friday, November 21.
