The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Hopewell Titans (Huntersville, NC) and the host Harding University Rams (Charlotte, NC), observed Hopewell's basketball team edge Harding University by a score of 69-62.

The Titans (13-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Ambassador Christian School (Huntersville, NC). The Lions come into the non-league challenge with a 13-4 record. In their last challenge, Ambassador Christian School edged Independence (Charlotte, NC), 57-49, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Rams encounter the North Mecklenburg Vikings (Huntersville, NC) in a 3A/4A Queen City challenge, on Tuesday, January 28.
