Flushing Raiders (Flushing, MI) boosters were content Friday as they observed their football squad thwart the host Linden Eagles (Linden, MI), 34-13 in a league match.

The Raiders (2-3) will now prepare for their match against Holly (Holly, MI). The Bronchos go into the Flint Metro - Upper battle with a 2-3 record. In their last battle, Holly was dropped by Fenton (Fenton, MI), 40-22, in a league battle.

The Eagles now have a 4-1 record. They take the field next when they host Swartz Creek for a Flint Metro - Upper test on Friday, October 3. Linden will meet a Dragons squad coming off a 31-12 league win over Kearsley (Flint, MI). The Dragons record now stands at 1-4.
