Permian Panthers (Odessa, TX) supporters left the game happy Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad run past the host Midland Legacy Rebels (Midland, TX), 45-27 in a league match.

With the victory, Permian advances its record to 20-9 on the year. The Panthers host Odessa (Odessa, TX) to meet the Bronchos in a 6A Region I District 2 match on Friday, January 31. The Bronchos enter the match with a record of 13-17. Odessa lost 90-33 in their recent league match against San Angelo Central (San Angelo, TX)

The Rebels now own a 16-12 record. They put it on the line next when they host Midland for a 6A Region I District 2 match on Friday, January 31. Midland Legacy will meet a Bulldogs squad coming off a 72-34 league loss to Frenship (Wolfforth, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 10-20.
